Need to park at BC3? Start here.
Everyone parking on BC3 Main Campus—whether you're a student, employee, or visitor—needs a valid parking permit. Just print it and place it on your dashboard when you park.
Parking Rules at a Glance
- Permits are required only on BC3 Main Campus for the fall 2025 semester.
- Display your printed permit on the dashboard, face up.
- Violations can result in fines or restrictions on your student account.
Walking Trail Parking
Using the Shaffer Walking Trail? You’ll need a yearly permit ($10).
Apply online, then pay in person or online. Walkers must park only in spaces with white lines.

To avoid a ticket, don’t park:
- In spots that aren’t clearly marked.
- In crosswalks, on sidewalks, or on grass.
- In fire lanes or within 15 feet of fire hydrants.
- In reserved, handicapped, visitor, or preschool-only spots (unless authorized).
- Across multiple spaces or blocking traffic.

Transportation to BC3
Don’t drive? No problem.
The Butler Transit Authority provides public bus service through Butler Township and
Butler City—and goes directly to BC3 Main Campus via Local Route 4.
Got a Parking Ticket?
Pay online quickly and easily.
Think it’s a mistake?
You can appeal within 5 business days of the ticket date. Use the online appeal form—your case will be reviewed by the Parking Authority Review Board.
Appeal Process
You’ll receive a decision by mail:
- Voided: No payment needed.
- Denied: You’ll have 10 business days to pay.
If you don’t pay:
- Students: Your account will be put on hold.
- Others: You may be referred to the District Justice Office (50-1-01) and will be responsible for additional legal fees.
